Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity offers both individuals and groups a way to give back to their neighbors. Non Construction Volunteers help in our ReStores, serve on committees, help raising funds, supporting families, and joining in special events.
Volunteer staff work on the sales floor, helping customers find building materials, or in receiving, helping to unload trucks and measure and price materials for sale. They also prepare merchandise for display, assist customers, and help keep the ReStore organized.
Building a house is hard work. To show our appreciation for our construction crews, we make sure lunch is there for them. Volunteers are greatly needed for this task. This can be as simple as ordering takeout and delivering it to the worksite, or cooking a special meal to share with the crowd.
