Visit our Habitat ReStores
The Habitat ReStore recycles overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, electronics, and household items. These donated items are sold to the public at very favorable prices. All revenue from the sales at our ReStores goes to support our building program. Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity operates two ReStores, one in Ocean Isle Beach and one in Southport. Both have a friendly group of staff and volunteers who will gladly accept your donation or assist you with items for sale. Each store is stocked with a wide variety of building materials and household items from windows to furniture. Our ReStores are open from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday- Saturday. You may call ahead to check if an item is available or to schedule a pick up of donated items. Contractors appreciate our pick-up service for reusable materials, eliminating hauling and dumping fees. Building suppliers often donate discontinued or returned items, and people remodeling their homes give new purpose to their old appliances, cabinets, windows, doors, and fixtures through donations to the ReStores. Anyone planning to move can skip the packing or yard sale hassle by bringing their unwanted furnishings to a ReStore. We can not only pick up your donated items, we will gladly provide you a receipt for a tax deduction. Contact our ReStores for more information. |
